Who we are

Northwest Firewood Co. ("we", "us", "our") supplies and delivers firewood across Merseyside, West Lancashire, Wirral. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or place an order, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. Information we collect

When you place an order, we (via our payment provider, Stripe) collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your delivery address
• Order details (products, quantities, amount paid)

We do not collect or store your card details. Payment is processed entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card number never reaches our servers.

While browsing, your shopping cart is stored only in your own browser (using local storage), not on our servers, and is never seen by us unless you complete an order.

How we use your information

• To fulfil and deliver your order
• To contact you about your order or delivery
• To keep records required for accounting and tax purposes
• To respond to enquiries sent by phone, email or WhatsApp

We do not use your information for marketing without your consent, and we never sell your personal information to third parties.

Who we share it with

We share order and payment information with Stripe, Inc. so they can process your payment. Stripe's use of your information is governed by their own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/gb/privacy. We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as required by UK tax and accounting law (currently up to 6 years). Payment records held by Stripe are retained in line with Stripe's own policies.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request that it be corrected or deleted, and object to how it's used. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
