Wirral
Firewood delivery in Heswall
Free delivery of kiln-dried firewood across Heswall, Gayton and Pensby.
Heswall runs down the Dee side of the Wirral in a series of large plots and long gardens, and the houses here tend to have both the fireplaces and the storage to make bulk buying sensible. Pallet deliveries are the norm rather than the exception.
The slope is the local quirk worth mentioning. A lot of Heswall properties sit well above or below their road, with steps rather than a level driveway, which affects where a pallet can actually be set down. It's worth having a think about the drop point before you order: the flattest accessible spot, not necessarily the closest one to the house.
Free delivery across CH60 and CH61.
